DANKEV Environmental founded by Jack Siegel, a licensed professional geologist with over 15
years of environmental consulting experience, is located in Marietta Georgia; approximately 10
miles north of Atlanta. Mr. Siegel is licensed in both Georgia and Florida and has conducted
and managed numerous Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for
national and regional banks, private investment groups, law firms and, other consult firms
representing the same.
Assessments are currently adhering to ASTM designation 1527-05 that complies with the EPA
All-Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) final rule (effective, November 1, 2006). As of March 2008, Phase I
ESAs may include Vapor Intrusion determinations using a four tiered approach, if contracted.
Properties investigated include large tract developments, multi-family housing, office parks,
strip centers, gas stations/C-Stores, dry cleaners, commercial, manufacturing, and industrial
facilities in the Southeast. Phase II Site Investigations (SI) includes subsurface assessments
of contaminated soil and/or groundwater, and subsequent determination of horizontal and
vertical extent of contaminants; if needed.
Additionally, Mr. Siegel has conducted numerous soil and groundwater assessments
associated with Georgia EPD UST, RCRA, and HSRA Programs, and adheres to high Quality
Assurance and Quality Control standards established by the Region 4 EPA. Projects experienc
includes the installations of monitoring well networks using hollow stem auger, mud rotary and
direct push technology. Groundwater sampling using low-flow technology, interpreting and
spatially relating data; single point hydraulic conductivity testing (slug tests) are just a few of
Dankev's capabilities.
